Karate is a fantastic way to increase fitness levels, whilst improving flexibility and stamina. It can also reduce stress levels and help with goal-focusing.One of the many benefits of choosing karate as your martial art is its incredibly diverse range of techniques including, strikes, blocks, kicks, sweeps, takedowns, and joint locks. It is also a great way to get fit, keep fit, relieve stress, instill discipline, and of course, have fun.

Many people think karate is about smashing bricks, ‘one-inch death punches’, and screaming ‘Eeee-yah’. But it’s not. (Except for the screaming, which is called a Kiai*).
